Blair Street Park is located at the end of Blair Street on Lake Huron. This 0.4-acre park contains 173 feet of Thunder Bay frontage and a refurbished handicapped-accessible pier for fishing, a picnic area with tables and grills, concrete bike paths connecting the State Avenue bike path to the pier, and off-street parking. This small sandy beach is located on Lake Huron, right in the heart of Alpena. It offers swimming, a grassy picnic area, and a wooden pier that is known for its fantastic view of Alpena's sunrises. Very soft sand on Lake Huron makes this a great swimming beach. This beach is a great location with picnic tables and a pier for scenic viewing. The favorite beach of locals for kiteboarding.
