Harmony Weekend
Harmony Arts & Crafts – Labor Day Weekend Festival! An annual event held every Saturday and Sunday preceding Labor Day in Harrisville, Michigan, and featuring many talented artists and crafters from around the country. Listen to the Sweet Adelines and live Musicians while perusing over 300 booths.
This is a juried show, and all items offered must be made by the artist or crafter. Vendors who violate the rules will not be allowed to return the following year. Early Vendor discount registration of $150/booth is due by April 30th. Postmarked after April 30th, vendor fee is $200 per booth.

Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk
Join thousands of pedestrians as they participate in a long standing tradition, the LABOR DAY BRIDGE WALK. This event has been held every year since 1958. The walk begins at 7:00 a.m. on Labor Day and concludes at 12:00 noon. This is the only day of the year that walking the "Mighty Mac" is allowed.
The Labor Day Bridge walk is recognized as "The World's Greatest Walking Event"! The walk brings over 70,000 people to the area. Make the LABOR DAY BRIDGE WALK a new tradition and join us in Mackinaw City this year.

Fort Fright at Colonial Michilimackinac - Mackinaw City
Lanterns light your way through an 18th-century fort and fur trading village overrun by werewolves, witches, goblins and ghouls. Storytellers weave spooky folktales near bonfires and treats such as hot mulled cider, cookies and candy can be found throughout the site. Most stops are suitable for all ages, but a haunted house, demon walk and werewolf walk will give thrills and chills to adults and children alike.

A Colonial Christmas
The once a year event offers visitors a glimpse into the holiday traditions of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Christmas in the City Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting
Things to know:
The parade will proceed with Rain, Shine, Sleet, or (hopefully) Snow at 6 pm
The parade line-up will begin at 5:30 pm at the Shepler’s remote parking lot just east of I-75.
There is no cost to participate.
Parade Route – The parade will travel East down Central Ave. to the Tree Lighting in Marina Park.
Lights – The parade is at night so the more lights, the better for guests to see you!
NO Santas – Sorry, Santa will be making his appearance to light the tree.
Entries must be family-friendly and holiday appropriate.
Go slowly – for the enjoyment and safety of the crowd, and our walking entries, please keep a slow pace and safe distance.
Audie’s Restaurant will be there with hot cocoa & the Mackinaw Woman’s Club with delicious cookies!!

All the ladies who are “anybody” in Chinquapin, Louisiana come to Truvy’s beauty salon to have their hair done. Helped by her eager new assistant, Annelle (who is not sure whether or not she is still married), the outspoken, wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoo and free advice to the town’s rich curmudgeon, Ouiser, an eccentric millionaire, Miss Clairee, who has a raging sweet tooth; and the local social leader, M’Lynn, whose daughter, Shelby (the prettiest girl in town), is about to marry a “good ole boy.”
Filled with hilarious repartee and several acerbic verbal collisions, the comedy moves toward tragedy when, in the second act, the spunky Shelby risks her life to go through with a dangerous pregnancy. Confronted with the harshness of mortality, the others draw together to find strength – and love – in the wake of tragedy.

Mackinaw City Arts & Crafts Show - August
Mackinaw Area Visitors Bureau will host 2 Premier Arts & Craft Shows on the weekends of June 27th & 28th and August 29th & 30th, 2026. Located in Conkling Heritage Park on South Huron Avenue.
The Show will feature many artists from around the country. Exhibits to include: Paintings, Woodwork, Hand-Crafted jewelry, Hand-Designed Clothing, Self Published Books, Nature Photography, Gourmet Dips and Salsa, Seasonal Décor and much more!
Corvette Crossroads Auto Show - Mackinaw City
An American automotive classic, the Corvette, will be celebrated the weekend before Labor Day weekend during the Annual Corvette Crossroads Auto Show.
Beginning Friday, Corvettes of various vintages will begin arriving in the area, cruising and getting registered for Saturday’s festivities. On Saturday, hundreds of Corvettes will be on display in Mackinaw City from 10am to 2 pm. A poker walk for show participants will also be offered during the day.
Peoples choice style of judging will determine winners in several different award classes. Winners will be announced at an awards presentation at 3 pm. Saturday’s festivities will culminate with a parade of Corvettes across the Mackinac Bridge, beginning at 7 pm. All Corvettes are welcome and there is a nominal fee for non show registered vettes.
