Cheboygan County History Center

This contains the artifacts and historic exhibits of Cheboygan County's past.

Located at Huron and Court Streets in Cheboygan, the County Seat, the complex consists of four buildings which house artifacts and historic exhibits of the past. The grounds also display the Memorial Rose Garden and beautiful perennial gardens planted and maintained by the local Seedums Garden Club.

  • Settler's Log Cabin originally located on Burt Lake in a local Indian Village

  • The Cheboygan County Sheriff Residence constructed in 1882 with attached jail cells

  • The New Jail addition built in 1912 - 14

  • Spies Heritage Hall, dedicated in 1997, providing additional exhibit space Website:
