Great Lakes Circle Tour

6,500-Mile Tour throughout the Great Lakes

The Circle Tour is over 6,500 miles or 10,500 kilometers long. It encompasses individual lake Circle Tours, including New York State's Seaway Trail system. The road route, marked by distinctive green and white signs, is usually the closest major road or highway to the water. Official spur routes such as the Lake Michigan carferry are identified by brown and white signs.

Lake Huron Circle Tour: The Lake Huron Circle Tour is one of four Great Lakes Circle Tours, each of which runs through portions of Michigan. What sets the LHCT apart, though, is that this route is the only one touching just two jurisdictions—Michigan and Ontario. The LHCT was officially designated soon after the debut of the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior Circle Tours. It joins the LMCT as one of the two that traverse both of Michigan's peninsulas as well as crossing the Mackinac Bridge
