RIVERBEND CAMPGROUND AND CANOE RENTAL is located in Omer, MI, on the RIFLE RIVER. (Michigan's smallest city) RIVERBEND is a family-oriented campground with 100 campsites to choose from. Riverfront sites with water and electricity are available. Wooded sites with water and electricity are also available, as well as with Electric only (wooded sites that are rustic - no power, water, or electricity). All sites have a campfire ring and a picnic table. We also have a picnic shelter with plenty of picnic tables and its own huge fire ring, a playground for the kids, horseshoe pits, a volleyball net, a huge area to play football, play catch, etc., and a very beautiful hiking trail to walk and enjoy the wildlife. Be sure to visit our campground store, where we will be selling condiments that you may have forgotten at home, ice, water shoes, water guns, toys, games, charcoal, over 800 movies to choose from for nightly rentals, milk, water, pop, candy, soaps, deodorants, tooth brushes, t-shirts, etc. You name it, we hope to have it. We will try to have a movie night every Saturday. (weather depending) Movie night is where we will have a large tv in the field for everyone to enjoy a movie. The most important reason to camp at RIVERBEND is to enjoy The Rifle River!!!! Be sure to rent a canoe, kayak, raft, or tubes and go out for a peaceful, relaxing trip down the river. We transport all our customers to and from the river trips on a school bus. All of our equipment is well-maintained and has passed all required state inspections. You do not have to camp here in order to rent our canoes, kayaks, rafts, or tubes. We welcome the public to join us for a river trip.
DIRECTIONS: (Just minutes from northbound I-75)
Take I-75 north to Exit 188 (US 23). Head north on US 23 through Standish to Omer. Turn left on Main St. Campground is less than a mile on the left.
Just 10 minutes from Saganing Eagles Landing Casino. Minutes away from MANY 4-wheeling trails. About 15 minutes away from The Whittemore Speedway.
