Springport Inn B&B

Swiss Gothic Style Inn on the Shore of Lake Huron

Situated on a rise of ground that ascends from the shore of Lake Huron, Springport Inn Bed and Breakfast is an elegant home of Swiss Gothic style. Featured in Kathryn Bishop Eckert's Buildings of Michigan, Springport Inn is described as "a vernacular mix that defies style in favor of a succulent feast. Its balconies, porches, and bays are frosted with East Lake spindlework and Italianate detail." Upon completion in 1877, Joseph and Mary Van Buskirk, the original owners, opened their home to the public, hosting many social events and raising funds for local churches and charities. Now, this historic home is restored and open for guests to share evenings by the fireplace, sunrises on the porches, good conversation, or quiet solitude.

All rooms equipped with a wash basin - shared baths. Gourmet breakfast included.
