Cheboygan Ice Pavilion

City of Cheboygan's indoor ice pavilion

The City of Cheboygan Ice Rink/Pavilion was built in 1992. The facility was funded by some private donations but primarily by a bond, which was paid by a special assessment of all City of Cheboygan taxpayers over a ten-year period, and by a State of Michigan grant. The facility is used primarily for hockey, figure skating, and leisure/family skating from September through March. April through August, the facility has been used for a variety of functions, such as the Chamber of Commerce Home Show, circuses, wrestling, cage boxing, art fairs, Little League Baseball State Tournament dinners, and can be an ideal location for concerts.
