Mackinaw Historical Pathway
A two mile route that features historical displays outlining the history of the city and the Straits area.
You will stroll around town to kiosks describing a part of our broad history, from shipping to colonial battles. It winds its way through the Village and includes nearly 40 detailed markers recalling much of Mackinaw's history. Most of the markers are located along Mackinaw City's main thoroughfares
Trail circles the downtown, maps available at village hall and chamber of commerce. Visit the Old Mackinac Point Historic Lighthouse and Colonial Michilimackinac, learn about Alexander Henry and the glacial history of the region
Interpretive signs and benches are located along the trail.
