Northern Lights Arena is a top-notch facility, with 2 sheets of ice and 1/8 mile indoor walking track, that offers open ice skating, drop-in hockey, figure skating, and is the home ice for the Alpena Wildcats, Alpena Hockey Association, Alpena Independent Hockey, Alpena Figure Skating Club, Alpena Speed Skating Club, Alpena Men's Hockey League, Alpena General Hospital All Stars, and Wrecks Travel Hockey.

Hours: Open Mon-Fri at 7:00 am; weekend hours vary
